The trailer opens with a sweeping shot of Zootopia’s vibrant cityscape, its towering skyscrapers and busy streets filled with anthropomorphic animals of all kinds. But something’s different. The camera zooms in on Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), who are once again working together as partners in the ZPD.

The trailer teases a new mystery, as a series of strange occurrences unfold across the city. Animals, once peaceful, are beginning to act out of character, and it’s up to Judy and Nick to get to the bottom of it. The duo sets out on a new investigation that takes them from the glittering nightlife of the Savanna Central district to the shadowy underground clubs of Tundratown.

The trailer introduces new characters, including a charismatic but mysterious new villain voiced by a top-tier actor. A mysterious organization seems to be pulling the strings behind the chaos, and the villain promises to add a whole new level of danger. Alongside familiar faces like Chief Bogo (Idris Elba) and Gazelle (Shakira), we’re also introduced to a new ally, a tech-savvy sloth named “Zoomer” who helps our heroes navigate the ever-evolving world of Zootopia.
