Therefore, her unique hair shocked her mother and family.

Devina’s mother, Jessica Smith, 27, took photos of her daughter and posted them on social media. Immediately, the pictures of Devina’s one-of-a-kind hair attracted the attention of thousands of people. Some even couldn’t believe their eyes, suggesting that Jessica had used Photoshop to enhance the images.

However, doctors have confirmed that Devina’s unusual hair is real and is the result of a rare genetic condition called partial albinism, which causes her hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows to be white.

This rare genetic condition occurs in only about 5 out of 100,000 people in the US and Europe.

Devina’s health is perfectly normal. Jessica said, “I never thought she would have such unusual hair. The doctor told me she would have a lot of hair at birth, but I was shocked when I saw her hair. Before this, I had only seen babies with blonde hair, never a child with such unique hair.”
