THE BOSS BABY 3 (2026)

The Boss Baby franchise has been known for its whimsical charm, hilarious antics, and surprisingly heartwarming moments. What began as a clever animated comedy about a baby who is, quite literally, the boss of a corporate world of children has since expanded into an enjoyable family series. With the release of The Boss Baby 3 in 2026, the question is: Can the franchise maintain its energy and humor, while continuing to entertain audiences with its unique blend of absurdity and heartfelt messages?

The answer, happily, is yes. While The Boss Baby 3 doesn’t break any major new ground, it delivers an engaging and fun continuation of the story that balances humor, action, and a deepening of the family dynamics that made the first two films so enjoyable.

Plot & Storyline

The Boss Baby 3 picks up several years after the events of The Boss Baby: Family Business (2021). Tim Templeton (voiced by James Marsden) and his now-grown brother, Ted (Alec Baldwin), have each settled into their lives, with Ted running the family business empire and Tim living with his wife and children. However, things aren’t as perfect as they seem. Despite Ted’s success, there’s still a sense that something’s missing in his life.

As the movie kicks off, Tim’s young daughter, Tabitha (voiced by Ariana Greenblatt), is growing up to be a little genius—so much so that she’s headed down the same corporate path her father once followed. In contrast, Tim’s youngest child, who seems to be a normal, happy-go-lucky kid, suddenly reveals a surprising secret: She’s the new Boss Baby, a prodigy sent from BabyCorp on a mission to make the world a better place for all children.

With a new generation of BabyCorp coming into play, the family finds themselves once again caught up in the absurd world of BabyCorp, facing off against a new villain—a rogue former employee of BabyCorp who plans to turn every child into a miniature corporate drone. The race is on to stop this villain and save the future of childhood itself, with the entire Templeton family, including the now-grown Boss Baby (Ted), joining forces for an epic showdown.
