IT 3 – WELCOME TO DERRY (2025)

IT 3: Welcome to Derry doesn’t try to outdo the chaos of its predecessors — instead, it burrows deeper, turning fear inward and history into its sharpest weapon. This chapter feels less like a sequel and more like a descent… into the soul of a town that never truly woke up.

Set across multiple timelines, the film explores Derry long before the Losers’ Club — peeling back decades of disappearances, whispered legends, and blood-soaked secrets. Pennywise is no longer just a monster in the shadows; he’s a presence woven into the town’s DNA. When he appears, it’s brief, restrained, and far more terrifying.

The horror here is patient and psychological. Fear isn’t screamed — it seeps. Children vanish, adults look away, and silence becomes complicity. The film trades jump scares for atmosphere, letting dread build through empty streets, flickering lights, and unsettling stillness.

Visually, Welcome to Derry is hauntingly beautiful. Muted colors, period detail, and creeping camerawork give the town a ghostly, decaying personality of its own. The score hums beneath every scene like a warning you can’t quite hear.
