Hudson may have been born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate, but nothing has taken away his bright personality or his beautiful smile.

The sweet little boy loves to “talk,” smile at Mommy and Daddy, cuddle close, and take in everything happening around him. From his earliest days, Hudson has shown his family just how strong he can be.

His journey, however, is far from over.

With a series of appointments and surgeries ahead, Hudson’s family knows there will be difficult moments along the way. There may be tears, long days and plenty of uncertainty — but they also know that every step is bringing their little boy closer to the future they dream of for him.

“We know this journey is temporary,” his family shared. “The difficult moments are hard, but they are nothing compared with the hope we have for Hudson’s future.”

For his parents, every medical decision comes back to one simple dream: seeing Hudson smile freely, grow confidently and experience life without being held back by the challenges he was born with.

They know surgery day may bring nerves and more difficult moments, but they are choosing to focus on what lies beyond it.

“We just want to give him every opportunity to be happy, healthy and confident,” his family said. “His smile reminds us every day why every step of this journey is worth it.”

And through it all, Hudson continues to be exactly who he is — a happy little boy with a huge personality, a beautiful smile and a family determined to walk beside him every step of the way.
