When Tilly was just fifteen months old, her life changed forever after contracting a severe bacterial infection. The life-threatening illness resulted in the tragic loss of both of her hands as well as the tips of her toes. Facing such severe physical challenges at an exceptionally young age could have easily defined her future, but Tilly proved to be extraordinarily resilient from the very beginning. She firmly refused to let her physical differences hold her back or limit what she could achieve in life.

Determined to live fully and independently, Tilly embraced technology and groundbreaking medical advances. She made history by becoming the very first child in the United Kingdom to receive and use custom 3D-printed bionic arms. Rather than keeping her story private, she took on an active role as an international ambassador, traveling across the globe to showcase how advanced prosthetic technology can transform lives and empower individuals with limb differences.

Her remarkable journey, infectious optimism, and refusal to surrender to circumstance have inspired people around the world. Over the years, she has earned numerous prestigious awards recognizing her courage, advocacy, and determination. Beyond her public outreach and advocacy work, Tilly has constantly pushed her own personal limits.
