Jeremy entered the world facing extraordinary health challenges from the very start. He was born with hydrocephalus, a condition characterized by a buildup of fluid in the brain, which caused one side of his head to develop differently. This gave him a distinct appearance from birth, marking the beginning of a journey that would require immense courage and resilience from both him and his family.

Since his birth, Jeremy has endured five major medical procedures. These surgeries have included critical interventions to relieve pressure on his brain, the placement of a VP shunt, cleft lip repair, and various other treatments designed to support his growth and overall health. Each procedure has represented a crucial milestone in his ongoing medical care.

Looking toward the future, medical specialists hope that as Jeremy grows older, he may become a candidate for a custom cranial implant to further assist his development. However, because of the complex nature of his condition, every stage of his treatment must proceed cautiously and step by step.

While strangers and passersby often notice his unique physical appearance first, his mother remains entirely focused on who he truly is inside. To her, he is simply the sweet, brave little boy she loves more than anything in the world.
