ALL OF US ARE DEAD – SEASON 2 (2026)

All of Us Are Dead returns with its highly anticipated second season, continuing the story of students who survived one of the most devastating zombie outbreaks ever seen in a high school setting. After the massive success of Season 1 in 2022, the series quickly became one of Netflix’s most popular Korean dramas, earning hundreds of millions of viewing hours worldwide.
Season 2 explores what happens after the chaos in Hyosan. The story shifts beyond the destroyed school and expands into a larger world where society is still struggling with the consequences of the virus. Survivors must face not only the remaining infected but also the psychological trauma and moral choices that come with living in a post-outbreak world.
A major theme in the new season is the evolution of the virus. The show introduces more “hybrid” zombies—infected people who retain parts of their human consciousness. This concept, first hinted at with Nam-ra in Season 1, will play a bigger role as the outbreak spreads and humanity tries to understand the new form of infection.
Several fan-favorite characters return, including Park Ji-hu as On-jo, Yoon Chan-young as Cheong-san, Cho Yi-hyun as Nam-ra, and Lomon as Su-hyeok. The cast is also expanded with new characters who may include university students, soldiers, and government agents trying to control the growing crisis.
Production for Season 2 began in mid-2025 and filming wrapped around February 2026. The series has now moved into post-production, which includes editing and visual effects for the large-scale zombie scenes.
Although Netflix has not confirmed an official release date yet, industry reports suggest the new season could premiere in late 2026, though some sources believe it may arrive in early 2027 depending on post-production timing.
