The story picks up after the terrifying events of The Nun 2 and Annabelle Comes Home. The iconic, malevolent doll, Annabelle, is locked away in the Warren family’s occult museum. However, when a new family moves into an old mansion with a dark history, they unknowingly awaken Valak, the demon who once terrorized a convent in Romania. As the malevolent spirit begins to torment the family, it becomes clear that the demon’s reach is far more powerful than anything they’ve faced before.

Desperate for help, the family calls upon the Warrens, but they are shocked to discover that the true battle lies not in confronting one evil entity but in stopping a war between two of the most powerful forces of darkness. Annabelle, bound to her cursed existence, is unwittingly released from her confines during a ritual to banish Valak. But the doll has its own agenda, and in a twist no one sees coming, it becomes clear that Annabelle may not be as innocent as she first appeared.

The film dives deep into the lore of both the haunted doll and the demon, exploring their origins and the ancient power they each possess. As the battle escalates, the characters are forced into increasingly dire confrontations, culminating in a final, terrifying confrontation where the lines between good and evil are blurred.
