Plot:
Years have passed since Jesse freed Willy and watched him return to the wild. Jesse, now a young adult, has settled into a life away from the ocean, but he’s never forgotten the incredible connection he shared with Willy. When a powerful conservation group learns that the orca population in the region is under threat due to industrial activities, Jesse is contacted to help protect Willy’s family from the encroaching danger.

Together with his mother, Annie (Jayne Atkinson), and their new ally, Dr. Lena Foster (Tessa Thompson), a marine biologist dedicated to saving the ocean’s creatures, Jesse returns to the waters of his childhood. However, what they find is a far greater threat than they imagined — the ocean’s ecosystem is being destroyed by illegal fishing practices, oil drilling, and rising temperatures. Willy’s family is at risk of losing their habitat, and Jesse must once again fight to protect the creatures he loves.

As Willy’s story intertwines with Jesse’s, the two are forced to confront not just external threats, but the changing world around them. Together, they will go on an epic adventure to protect the seas and ensure a future for Willy’s pod.
