Plot:
As an adult, Walter (Haley Joel Osment) has grown into a man shaped by the wild stories and lessons imparted by his eccentric uncles, Hub and Garth. He’s living a modest life, trying to make sense of his own path in the world. However, things take a dramatic turn when a financial crisis forces Walter to return to the family home in Texas, which is now on the verge of being sold.

To his surprise, the house has become a popular local legend, attracting tourists who want to hear tales of the wild exploits of the McCann brothers. But Walter soon learns that the real treasure isn’t in the money or the stories; it’s in the legacy of his uncles — their wild adventures and the lessons they imparted. The uncles, now older, have left behind more than just tall tales; they’ve left a map to a treasure — a real one, hidden deep in the Texas countryside.

But Walter isn’t the only one looking for it. A new generation of treasure hunters, led by a ruthless businessman (Lucas Hedges) and his team, wants to exploit the legend of the McCann brothers and claim the riches for themselves.
