Plot Overview

Set 23 years after the events of Part 3, the fifth film follows a group of travelers stranded on a desolate stretch of highway in rural Louisiana. When their bus breaks down near an abandoned mining town, they soon realize they’ve stopped right in the Creeper’s hunting territory—on the final night of his feeding cycle.

A local sheriff, haunted by past encounters, warns them the creature is more evolved, more strategic, and more feral than before. As midnight approaches, the group must uncover the secrets hidden beneath the mines—secrets that reveal why the Creeper returns every cycle and what created him in the first place.
