ENTIRE FAMILY KILLED IN HORRIFIC FLORIDA PLANE CRASH: TECH ENTREPRENEUR, WIFE AND TWO YOUNG CHILDREN AMONG NINE VICTIMS

A family vacation that was supposed to bring loved ones together ended in unimaginable tragedy when a private jet crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida, killing all nine people aboard. Among the victims were technology entrepreneur Adam Robinson, 45, his wife, Helen Sharp, and their two young children, Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2.

A Family of Four Among Those Lost

The Robinson family was traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas on November 1, 2026, aboard a private Learjet 60 when the aircraft went down in South Florida.

Adam Robinson, a technology entrepreneur, was traveling with his wife, Helen Sharp, and their two young children.

The family was also accompanied by Anita Maria Cetina, who helped care for Emma and Charlie and was described by relatives as someone who had become an important part of their family.

Two family friends, Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr, were also aboard the aircraft.

The journey was supposed to be a family getaway. Instead, none of the seven passengers would reach their destination.

The two pilots operating the aircraft also lost their lives, bringing the total number of fatalities to nine.

Families Confirm the Identities of the Victims

Following the crash, relatives of the passengers released a joint statement confirming the identities of their loved ones.

The statement described Adam and Helen as devoted parents, saying their children were the light of their lives.

It also remembered the couple for their warmth, generosity and ability to make others feel welcome.

Their two children, Emma and Charlie, were remembered as the center of their parents’ world.

Anita Maria Cetina was praised for caring for the children with tenderness and devotion. The family said she was truly part of their family and had left behind a legacy of unconditional love.

Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr were remembered as a couple who shared a love of adventure and were deeply committed to one another and the life they were building.

The families expressed gratitude to first responders, investigators and members of the Palm Beach County community who offered support following the tragedy.

They also asked for privacy as they begin to cope with the devastating loss.

The Private Jet Crashed Shortly After Leaving Texas

According to investigators, the Learjet 60 departed Austin, Texas, at approximately 10:37 a.m. on November 1.

Its destination was North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas.

Approximately two hours later, at around 12:50 p.m., the aircraft crashed near Greenacres in Palm Beach County, Florida.

The jet went down near the entrance to a residential mobile home community, creating a massive fire and scattering debris across the surrounding area.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene, but all nine people aboard the aircraft were killed.

The crash also affected people living nearby. Hundreds of residents from the surrounding mobile home community were displaced as emergency crews worked to secure the area and investigate the wreckage.

At least one person on the ground was reported injured.

Investigators Examine Weather Conditions Before the Crash

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) launched an investigation into what caused the aircraft to crash.

Preliminary information indicated that weather conditions may have played an important role.

According to air traffic control communications, the flight crew reported encountering rain, ice and moderate turbulence shortly before the crash.

The pilots requested a higher altitude and subsequently declared an emergency as the aircraft began descending rapidly.

Flight-tracking information indicated that the jet lost more than 25,000 feet of altitude in approximately one minute before disappearing from tracking systems.

NTSB investigators also said there was evidence suggesting the aircraft may have begun breaking apart before hitting the ground.

However, officials cautioned that the investigation was still in its early stages and that no final cause had been determined.

Investigators were examining the aircraft wreckage, weather conditions and available flight information to establish exactly what happened during the final moments of the flight.

A Community Mourns the Loss of an Entire Family

Adam Robinson was known in the technology and business community as an entrepreneur who founded and led several companies, including Retention.com and RB2B.

His wife, Helen Sharp, was also an entrepreneur who had worked in public relations and later pursued a ceramics business.

But beyond their professional achievements, relatives remembered them first and foremost as loving parents whose lives revolved around their children.

The loss of Adam, Helen, Emma and Charlie has left family members, friends and colleagues facing an unimaginable reality.

Four members of one family were traveling together, expecting to arrive at their destination and share time away from home. Instead, their journey ended in a tragedy that claimed all four lives.

As investigators continue working to determine what happened aboard the Learjet 60, loved ones are left remembering the family and the life they shared.
