Bound by a Rare Connection Two Little Lives Cared for With Patience Hope and Extraordinary Dedication

When Felicia was pregnant with conjoined twins named Titian and Krista Hogan, she was told by doctors that her twins would only be able to live for a few days after birth due to their physical condition. But it seems that Allah SWT has another will, because Titian and Krista are now 7 years old and have entered school just like their normal peers.

Titian and Krista conjoined twins share a brain in one skull. Not only that, they also share the same feelings and emotions if one of them experiences something. Titian and Krista can control their respective limbs and both can control each other’s leg movements as well as their hands. What’s even more amazing is that they can see the same thing from their eyes.

Although they have very high similarities, it turns out that their personalities are different. Titian is more of a leader, while Krista is more reserved. The neurologist who has treated conjoined twins since birth expressed his amazement at this feignity because he was able to survive in a fairly healthy condition.

The life story of conjoined twins is now airing on British television. For Felicia, the mother of conjoined twins, the existence of Titian and Krista brings happiness to herself and her husband, as well as her other children Rosa who is 12 years old, Christopher is 9 years old and Shayleigh is 4 years old.

Even the mother said that if given the opportunity to live her life again, she would choose to give birth to Titian and Krista again. The mother did insist that she did not want to abort her pregnancy when she found out that there was an abnormality in Titian and Krista.

Seeing the physical development and abilities of Titian and Krista is indeed amazing. After being able to survive a few days after birth, doctors say they will spend the rest of their lives lying down. But in reality they can grow rapidly, they can learn to run together and they can even play together. Even at one time they can get angry and frustrated from fighting.
