A new video featuring activist Tommy Robinson has gained rapid attention online after he alleged that recent disorder in several UK cities is being driven by foreign extremist networks operating under the cover of migration.

In the footage, Robinson claims that individuals linked to international extremist groups are entering the country as refugees and helping to fuel local crime and unrest. He also suggested that overseas organisations are influencing events on British streets and warned that conflicts from abroad are being “imported” into everyday life.

However, security specialists and community safety analysts have cautioned that there is currently no public evidence to support these claims.

Former counter-terror and policing advisers have said that while the UK continues to monitor international extremist threats closely, linking everyday street crime or public disorder to organised foreign networks requires clear intelligence and verified investigations.

A spokesperson for policing bodies previously stated that serious and organised crime, including any activity linked to extremist organisations, is handled through specialist units and long-term intelligence work. They added that unverified claims circulating online can easily mislead the public and increase fear without helping real investigations.
