Lee Anderson criticises Keir Starmer on live TV as new poll shows sharp drop in public approval

STARMER FURIOUS AS LEE ANDERSON MOCKS HIM LIVE ON TV AFTER APPROVAL RATINGS CRASH TO 11%!
Keir Starmer is in absolute meltdown mode after Reform UK MP Lee Anderson unleashed a savage live TV takedown – branding him “cowardly” and “inconsistent” as his approval ratings plummet to a catastrophic 11%!  Anderson ripped into the Labour leader with brutal precision, painting him as a detached PM whose leadership is collapsing in real time amid soaring public discontent.
Yugo’s latest poll has delivered the death blow: 70% disapproval for Starmer’s government – worse than Liz Truss (77%), Theresa May (72%) and Rishi Sunak (72%) at their lowest points. This puts him among the most hated leaders in modern British history, with voters rejecting his broken promises, tax hikes, immigration chaos and economic failures.
Anderson’s mocking onslaught left Starmer visibly rattled – the Reform MP’s fearless attack has exposed Labour’s arrogance and incompetence for millions to see. The numbers don’t lie, the public is furious, and Starmer’s reign is hanging by a thread. This is the moment the tide turned – and there’s no coming back!

Reform UK MP Lee Anderson launched a direct and highly critical attack on Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a live television appearance, accusing him of weak leadership, political inconsistency and failing to regain public trust after months of controversy over taxes, immigration and public services.

Anderson said voters were “losing patience” with what he described as a lack of clear direction from the government, arguing that everyday pressures such as high living costs, housing shortages and stretched local services were being ignored.

The clash came after the publication of a new YouGov poll suggesting Starmer’s personal approval rating has fallen to around 11%, with about 70% of respondents saying they disapprove of the government’s performance. The figures place Starmer among the least popular UK prime ministers in recent polling history.

Downing Street has not directly responded to Anderson’s comments, but ministers said the government remains focused on economic stability, reforming the asylum system and restoring confidence in public services.
