The adoptive mother of Tony Hudgell has shared a heartbreaking health update that has stunned supporters across the UK, revealing she is now facing terminal cancer after being misdiagnosed 14 times.

Known to many as the woman who gave Tony safety, stability and unconditional love after his traumatic early life, she said she never imagined she would be fighting for her own life after years of seeking answers from doctors. According to the family, repeated medical errors delayed proper treatment until the disease had reached an advanced stage.

In an emotional message, she said: “I never thought this day would come,” as friends, supporters and charities linked to Tony’s campaign rallied around the family with messages of love and solidarity.
