BREAKING NEWS: France and UK Say They Were Not Involved in Iran Strikes

France and the United Kingdom have confirmed they did not participate in the recent U.S.–Israeli military strikes on Iran, as European leaders seek to distance themselves from the escalating conflict.

In a joint statement alongside Germany, leaders said their countries played no role in the operation but remain in close contact with international partners. They emphasized the need for diplomacy and warned against further military escalation in the region.

French President Emmanuel Macron stated that France was “neither informed nor involved” in the strikes and called for renewed diplomatic efforts to address Iran’s nuclear and regional issues.

While denying involvement, both London and Paris condemned Iran’s retaliatory attacks and urged Tehran to return to negotiations, highlighting Europe’s attempt to balance security concerns with calls for de-escalation amid rising Middle East tensions.
