BREAKING NEWS: Iran Goes Dark Amid ‘Regime Paranoia’ After U.S.–Israeli Strikes
Iran has entered a near-total communications blackout following U.S. and Israeli strikes on a key government compound in Tehran, with internet connectivity dropping to almost zero nationwide, according to global monitoring groups.

Data from internet watchdog NetBlocks shows national connectivity “flatlining” at around 1–4% of normal levels shortly after the attacks, effectively isolating the country from the outside world.
Analysts say the blackout appears to be a deliberate move by Iranian authorities to prevent intelligence leaks, restrict information flow, and protect the locations of senior regime figures amid fears of further strikes.
The shutdown marks one of the rare wartime nationwide internet blackouts globally and comes as regional tensions sharply escalate, leaving millions of Iranians unable to communicate while the conflict continues to unfold.
