Former US President Barack Obama recently suddenly spoke out to answer the decades-long question of the country’s people about the existence of aliens.

The Telegraph reported that in an interview with podcaster Brian Tyler Cohen on February 14, former President Obama revealed what he knew about aliens while working in the White House.

Asked if the aliens were real, Obama said: “They are real, but I haven’t seen them and they’re not trapped in Area 51. There’s no underground basis, unless there’s a huge conspiracy and they’ve hidden that information from the president of the United States.”

However, Obama did not say exactly how he knew the aliens were real or if it was just his personal opinion.

According to the Telegraph, Americans have long believed that a top-secret military base called Area 51 in southern Nevada was used as a hiding place for the bodies of aliens and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

Some conspiracy theories suggest that there were many covert operations taking place at Area 51, involving the storage, inspection, and reverse engineering of spacecraft debris, including suspected materials recovered in the Roswell area of New Mexico in 1947. Others believe the area was used as a development site for things like intergalactic weapons, time travel and teleportation technology, or even some form of weather control.
