Glowing Auras and “Black Money”: The Pentagon’s Mysterious UFO Program

A secretive program within the United States Department of Defense has long fueled intrigue after reports revealed the government spent millions investigating unexplained aerial phenomena. The initiative, known as the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), studied unusual sightings reported by military pilots, including objects displaying glowing auras, extreme speeds, and flight patterns beyond known technology.

The program reportedly operated with funding often described as “black money”—classified defense spending that receives little public disclosure. Investigators collected radar data, pilot testimonies, and video footage of unidentified craft that appeared to defy conventional aeronautics.

Although officials said the program officially ended in 2012, interest in UFOs—now often called Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP)—continues to grow within the U.S. government and scientific community.

For many observers, the revelations raise a lingering question: are these sightings advanced human technology, natural phenomena, or something far more mysterious?
