U.S. Central Command on Thursday said the USS Gerald R. Ford was helping U.S. forces in “dominating the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism,” referring to Iran amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

“The world’s largest aircraft carrier is part of the team of U.S. forces dominating the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism,” CENTCOM said on X.

“Around-the-clock operations are keeping U.S. Navy F/A-18s in the fight,” the post continued.
