AT JUST 11, CHLOE BEGINS A BRAVE FIGHT NO CHILD SHOULD FACE đź’”

Chloe is only 11 years old, an age that should be filled with school days, laughter, and simple joys. But her life has taken a difficult turn after being diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare and serious bone condition.

Since that moment, Chloe’s world has changed completely.

Instead of classrooms and playgrounds, her days are now spent inside Crumlin Children’s Hospital — moving from one treatment to the next. Chemotherapy sessions, scans, blood tests, and constant medical check-ups have become part of her daily routine.

There is no longer a sense of “normal.”

Her family has had to adjust to a life they never expected. One parent made the difficult decision to step away from work to stay by Chloe’s side full-time, ensuring she is never alone during the long hospital days.

Now, their lives revolve around weekly hospital visits, sudden emergencies, and the growing pressure of daily expenses alongside lost income.

Amid the treatments, Chloe has faced one of the most emotional moments of her journey — losing her beautiful hair.

“It was one of the hardest days,” a family member shared softly. “She looked in the mirror, trying to be brave, but we could see how much it meant to her. Still, she smiled… because that’s who she is.”

Despite everything, Chloe continues to show incredible strength.

“There are days she’s tired, days she’s scared,” her parent said. “But she keeps going. She still finds ways to smile, even when things are at their hardest. We just want her to have the chance to be a child again.”
