Day after day, Mystique, a 29-year-old dolphin in Tin Can Bay, Australia, emerged from the ocean carrying treasures from the seafloor — shells, coral fragments, even strange objects — carefully placing them at humans’ feet.

But during the COVID lockdown, when visitors disappeared, Mystique reportedly began bringing even more gifts than ever.
