🚨 Will Roberts wrote a handwritten letter to all children with cancer before his cancer spread further, and the letter’s content brought tears to the world’s eyes ❤️
At 15 years old, having lost a leg, with bone cancer spreading throughout his body… Will Roberts still managed to do what many adults can’t

He just wrote a handwritten letter to all children battling cancer around the world. And just hours after the letter was shared, millions of people were moved to tears.

The letter’s content moved the world:
“Dear friends,
I know you are in pain. I am too. There are days when I am in so much pain I don’t want to get up. I lost a leg and the doctor says the cancer is spreading. But I want to tell you one thing:
Don’t be afraid.

I’m not afraid of dying. I’m only afraid of not being able to inspire people.
Keep smiling, even if it’s just a little. Hold the hands of your loved ones and tell them you love them. And believe that you are stronger than cancer thinks.
I am Will. I am fighting alongside you.
We are not alone.
— Will Roberts”
The letter, written in shaky handwriting on paper, was accompanied by a photo of Will smiling despite being in the hospital. In just a few hours, it went viral, receiving tens of millions of views and shares.
Will’s Courageous Journey
Will Roberts was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2024. He has undergone dozens of surgeries, chemotherapy, and most recently, the amputation of his right leg. Despite the cancer metastasizing to his lungs and other parts of his body, Will’s spirit has earned the admiration of doctors and nurses at MD Anderson.
His family says Will wrote this letter before receiving his third dose of DeltaRex-G – an expensive experimental drug. He said he wanted to send a message of hope to other children before his condition worsens.
