UPDATE: 95 BEAGLES JUST STEPPED INTO FREEDOM… AND 55 MORE ARE ON THE WAY

A new wave of the Ridglan Farms rescue is unfolding right now in Wisconsin, and hearts are both breaking and soaring.

On the ground:

• 95 Beagles are currently being assessed by the rescue and veterinary teams from BFP.
• Each dog is receiving full medical care, behavioral evaluation, and stabilization — some for the very first time in their lives.
• Volunteers describe this as the first real step into freedom for these dogs, many of whom have never felt grass under their paws or sunlight on their faces.

And the mission continues:

• Rescue teams are already heading back for another 55 Beagles today.
• Transfers will continue throughout the week, without pause, until as many dogs as possible are brought to safety.

The emotional reality:
For nearly 100 dogs, this is their first taste of life outside confinement. Every wagging tail, every cautious sniff of the grass is a tiny miracle — a step toward a life most of us take for granted.

The bigger picture:
