Daveigh Chase, the former child actress who voiced Lilo in ‘Lilo & Stitch’ and portrayed the central young ghost in ‘The Ring,’ has reportedly died at 35

‘The Ring’ Horror Film Actress Passes Away
Daveigh Chase was confirmed dead on June 16th. She was known to audiences for her role in the hit horror film “The Ring”.

According to TMZ, the actress’s manager shared that Daveigh Chase died from meningitis and sepsis. Complications from the sepsis caused her to become severely malnourished. Chase was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital earlier this month in a state of severe malnutrition. She passed away on June 16th.
In her final months, Daveigh Chase was reportedly living on the streets of downtown Los Angeles. In a video published by the New York Post, the star of “The Ring” appeared emaciated and almost unconscious.
Ryan recounted that after seeing the video, he contacted Daveigh by phone and planned to take her for treatment. However, by the time he arrived at Skid Row to rescue her, the actress had already left.

Daveigh Chase, born in 1990, quickly rose to prominence in Hollywood by voicing Lilo in the popular Disney animated film Lilo & Stitch (2002) and its subsequent television series. She also voiced Ogino Chihiro in the English dub of the anime blockbuster Spirited Away.
Chass’s breakthrough came with her portrayal of Samara Morgan, the main antagonist in the hit film The Ring (2002). This iconic role earned her an MTV Movie Award for Best Villain, a film that became synonymous with her career.
Since 2006, Chase has had a recurring role in HBO’s Big Love, a series about a Mormon family practicing polygamy. She played Rhonda Volmer in 32 episodes across five seasons. Additionally, she participated in many other works such as Donnie Darko, Beethoven’s 5th, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, ER, Mercy, etc. In 2015, she retired from acting, much to the regret of many fans.
