New Witnesses ‘Have Key Evidence’ on ‘Murder’ by Brit Influencer in Dubai as UK Cops Urged to Investigate Case

Exclusive
New witnesses may hold crucial evidence — potentially stored on their mobile phones — in the high-profile Dubai murder case involving British influencer Brooke George, according to fresh developments.
UK authorities are now being urged to launch their own investigation into the incident, as the 23-year-old from Gravesend, Kent, faces the possibility of the death penalty by firing squad if convicted.

The Incident
Brooke George is accused of fatally stabbing William “Bill” Treeby, 26, from Rainham, Kent, during an altercation at a luxury apartment in Dubai last week. She remains in custody and claims she acted in self-defence after being attacked.
The pair had reportedly connected online before Brooke flew to Dubai to meet Treeby.

Key New Leads
Campaign group Detained in Dubai has submitted relevant information and intelligence to both UK and UAE authorities. According to reports, there were five people present at the apartment on the night of the incident: Brooke, Treeby, two of his friends, and a maid.
At least one of Treeby’s friends is believed to have contacted people in Britain shortly after the death. Campaigners argue that phone records, call logs, and data from the men’s mobile devices could be vital in establishing a clear timeline, identifying additional witnesses, and preserving evidence before it is lost or deleted.
One of the men present is reportedly wanted by Kent Police. Treeby himself was facing trial at Maidstone Crown Court on charges of conspiracy to supply cocaine and had prior convictions for unlawful wounding and common assault.

Calls for UK Investigation
Radha Stirling, CEO of Detained in Dubai, emphasised the need for a thorough probe:
“Given the gravity of the proceedings and the potential consequences Brooke George faces, we believe it is imperative that every appropriate avenue is explored… Where a young British citizen is facing the possibility of the death penalty overseas, there must be a diligent, impartial and comprehensive investigation.”
The group is also engaging with Brooke’s local MP in Kent to push for full investigative and forensic support.
Campaigners are calling for anyone in Britain who received calls from the apartment in the hours following Treeby’s death to be interviewed, and for mobile phone evidence to be secured promptly.
Kent Police has been approached for comment.
