Woman and Man, Both 21, Arrested on Suspicion of Murder After Fatal Bus Stabbing in West London

A 22-year-old man named Haruun Hassan was fatally stabbed in the early hours of Tuesday morning following an alleged row on a night bus in Hounslow, west London.
Metropolitan Police officers were called to the junction of Bath Road and Great Southwest Road at around 1:47 AM on Tuesday, June 30, after reports of a stabbing. Hassan, who was on the N9 night bus heading toward Heathrow Airport, suffered serious stab injuries. Emergency services treated him at the scene, but he was sadly pronounced dead.

A double-decker bus was part of the police cordon as forensics teams gathered evidence along the A4. Hassan reportedly got off the bus and staggered toward a nearby 24-hour McDonald’s seeking help before collapsing.
Police have now arrested a 21-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody as investigations continue.
Detectives believe several passengers on the bus witnessed the incident and are urgently appealing for witnesses, as well as anyone with CCTV, doorbell, or mobile phone footage from the area, to come forward.

This tragic incident has prompted a major murder investigation by the Met Police’s Specialist Crime Command.
Rest in peace, Haruun Hassan.
