She Came Back With Her Babies: A Stray Cat’s Trust Turns Into a New Beginning for an Entire Family in Montreal
In Montreal, Lisianne began noticing a stray cat quietly wandering around her garden. The cat was shy, keeping her distance at first, but she kept coming back—day after day—drawn by something simple yet powerful: kindness.
Lisianne started leaving out food and fresh water, asking for nothing in return. Slowly, patiently, the cat began to trust her. The distance between them grew smaller, and what started as cautious visits turned into a quiet, unspoken bond.

Lisianne chose to keep the mother cat.
She officially adopted her and gave her a name: Usagui.
One of the kittens, a tabby, was adopted by a close friend. The remaining five—Taylor, Tynie, Tyana, Tales, and Tito—were placed in the care of the rescue, where they would begin their journey toward new families.
Each kitten had its own story.
Tito was born with a difference in one of his legs and is now receiving treatment. Tynie and Tyana formed an unbreakable bond, always staying close to each other. At first, they were all shy and unsure—but with time, care, and love, they began to blossom.
Volunteers couldn’t help but smile, saying, “They’re like tiny versions of their mother.”
And it all began with a simple act of kindness.
