‘AT RISK’ 16-YEAR-OLD GIRL VANISHES FROM LOS ANGELES — FAMILY DESPERATELY APPEALS FOR HELP

A 16-year-old girl has been reported missing from East Los Angeles, with authorities asking the public for help as concern for her safety continues to grow.

Paulina Ramirez was last seen at approximately 8:40 a.m. on Friday, August 28, on the 4500 block of Dozier Street in the unincorporated East Los Angeles area, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

AUTHORITIES CLASSIFY HER AS “AT RISK”

Ramirez is described as approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall and 108 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

At the time she was last seen, she was reportedly wearing a blue polo shirt, black pants and a gold necklace with a cross.

Her family told authorities they have had no contact with her since she disappeared, increasing fears about her well-being.

Officials have not indicated that a known medical or mental-health condition contributed to her disappearance. It also remains unclear where Ramirez was headed when she was last seen.

TWO DAYS WITH NO ANSWERS

By Sunday, Ramirez had been missing for two days.

For her family, every passing hour has brought more uncertainty as they continue hoping for information that could lead investigators to her whereabouts.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen Ramirez or knows anything about her disappearance to come forward.

POLICE ASK THE PUBLIC TO LOOK CLOSELY
