25-Year-Old Woman Remains in Coma After Severe Brain Injury on Six Flags X2 Ride

A 25-year-old Los Angeles woman remains in critical condition and in a coma more than a month after suffering a severe brain injury following a ride on the X2 roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California.

Naomi Greer-Wilkinson visited the amusement park in July 2026 with her twin sibling and younger sister. During the visit, she rode the X2 roller coaster, one of the park’s most intense attractions.

According to her family, Naomi lost consciousness shortly after getting off the ride. She was rushed to a hospital, where doctors determined that she had suffered a severe brain injury and required emergency brain surgery.

More than a month after the incident, Naomi remained in a coma and in critical condition, according to her parents. She reportedly continues to require a ventilator and feeding tube as she receives intensive medical care.

Her family has expressed deep concern about her condition and continues to hope for signs of improvement.

The incident has also drawn renewed attention to the safety history of the X2 ride. Authorities and the park have faced questions about previous medical emergencies associated with the attraction, although the circumstances of Naomi’s injury and any potential connection to the ride remain subject to investigation.
