Duane “Keffe D” Davis Found Guilty in Tupac Shakur Murder Case Nearly 30 Years Later

A Las Vegas jury has found Duane “Keffe D” Davis, 63, guilty of first-degree murder in connection with the 1996 killing of rapper Tupac Shakur.

The verdict was delivered on August 31, 2026, following a trial that lasted several weeks and brought renewed attention to one of the most infamous unsolved killings in music history.

Davis was not accused of being the person who pulled the trigger. Instead, prosecutors alleged that he orchestrated the attack and supplied the firearm to the person inside the Cadillac involved in the shooting.
