27-Year-Old Idaho Man Dies After Becoming Trapped in Conveyor Belt at Gravel Pit
A 27-year-old Twin Falls, Idaho, man died after becoming caught in a conveyor belt at a gravel pit in Twin Falls County, authorities said.
Emergency crews were called at approximately 4:20 p.m. to the gravel pit located at 2950 North 3500 East following reports of an industrial accident.

The victim was identified as Seth Vaughn, 27, of Twin Falls.
According to officials, Vaughn became caught in the conveyor belt while at the site. Despite the response of emergency personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation.

The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is investigating the incident to determine how the workplace accident occurred and whether any safety violations or other contributing factors were involved.
