Doctor’s Account of Tragic Childbirth Sparks Emotional Discussion About Motherhood and Sacrifice

For women, pregnancy and childbirth are both a joy and a difficult challenge in life. Everyone knows that “the door of birth is the door of death,” meaning both mother and baby are at risk at any time before, during, and after birth.

Stories of mothers forced to face this “door of death,” sacrificing their lives to give birth, always attract a large audience and are shared widely because of their emotional impact.

Recently, a story, allegedly recounted by a doctor witnessing the tragedy of a mother taking her last breath on the delivery table, has been widely shared.

“Today is the saddest day of my life. As a doctor, I have delivered countless babies for pregnant women. When they go into labor, I always pray to God to bless and protect these women.

The pain of labor is incomparable. They don’t simply carry a child for nine months and ten days; they bring new life into this world.

And today, I broke down in tears, wondering why God would let this woman suffer such a heartbreaking situation. She spent 14 years trying to conceive, trying every treatment including injections and artificial insemination.

Finally, hope came when she conceived. Despite having a tumor, she decided to keep the pregnancy. During the pregnancy, the tumor gradually disappeared, and everything was fine.

On the day she went into labor, her husband dropped everything, rushed to the hospital, and stayed there for seven hours.” The clock ticked down to when we decided to perform a cesarean section on her.

Unfortunately, as soon as the baby was born, she only had time to hold her child in her arms before taking her last breath. Her husband fainted upon hearing the news of his wife’s death. Why did what should have been a happy day turn into such a tragedy?

She lost her life giving birth! Please respect women more, because they risk their lives giving birth. Enduring hours of labor and staying up all night to care for their child is an immense sacrifice.

If it’s been a long time since you talked to your mother, please do so now. Please respect and love women more.”
