For women, pregnancy and childbirth are both a joy and a difficult challenge in life. Everyone knows that “the door of birth is the door of death,” meaning both mother and baby are at risk at any time before, during, and after birth.

Recently, a story, allegedly recounted by a doctor witnessing the tragedy of a mother taking her last breath on the delivery table, has been widely shared.

On the day she went into labor, her husband dropped everything, rushed to the hospital, and stayed there for seven hours.” The clock ticked down to when we decided to perform a cesarean section on her.

Unfortunately, as soon as the baby was born, she only had time to hold her child in her arms before taking her last breath. Her husband fainted upon hearing the news of his wife’s death. Why did what should have been a happy day turn into such a tragedy?

She lost her life giving birth! Please respect women more, because they risk their lives giving birth. Enduring hours of labor and staying up all night to care for their child is an immense sacrifice.
