FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6: SIX-YEAR-OLD HARRISON GLYNNE JONES REMEMBERED AFTER TRAGIC BIKE RIDE

FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6: SIX-YEAR-OLD HARRISON GLYNNE JONES REMEMBERED AFTER TRAGIC BIKE RIDE

A six-year-old boy who simply wanted to go for a bike ride after dinner has been remembered by his family as a lively, cheeky child whose personality could light up any room.

LLANFAIRFECHAN, WALES — Harrison Glynne Jones was only six years old when an ordinary evening turned into an unimaginable tragedy for his family.

On Thursday, October 1, Harrison asked his parents if he could go outside for a bike ride after dinner.

Minutes later, his family’s world had changed forever.

Harrison was involved in a collision with a white Ford Transit Tipper on Mill Road in Llanfairfechan, Conwy, shortly after 5 p.m., according to North Wales Police. Emergency services were called to the scene, but the young boy was pronounced dead.

His family has since paid tribute to Harrison, describing him as a “cheeky chappy, full of character with a personality that could light up a room.”

They said he was loved more deeply than words could ever express.

Harrison had been at home with his family when he asked if he could go for a ride on his bike.

His love of bikes was something his family knew well. According to tributes, he enjoyed spending time riding and regularly visited a dirt-bike track with his family.

But that Thursday evening, a simple bike ride ended in tragedy outside his own home.

A fundraising appeal set up for Harrison’s parents, Kayleigh and Daryl, said the family’s world was “changed forever” when their six-year-old son was struck by a vehicle.

The appeal said Harrison died at the scene in front of his family.

His parents are now facing the unimaginable task of saying goodbye to their young son, while his two sisters, Sienna, 9, and Eira, 16, are also grieving the loss of their beloved little brother.

REMEMBERING THE BOY BEHIND THE HEADLINES

For Harrison’s family, he was never simply the child at the center of a tragic news story.

He was their son.

Their little brother.

The lively six-year-old who could make people smile.

His relatives described him as a “cheeky chappy” who was full of character and had a personality capable of lighting up a room.

Those memories have become especially important as the family tries to cope with a loss they say is almost impossible to put into words.

The fundraising appeal said there were “no words” to describe the heartbreak and devastation being experienced by Harrison’s parents, sisters and their wider family.

The family has asked people to remember the little boy Harrison was — full of energy, personality and love — rather than allowing the circumstances of his death to define his short life.

POLICE INVESTIGATION CONTINUES

North Wales Police is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.

A 39-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and has since been released under investigation.

The arrest does not mean the man has been charged or found responsible for Harrison’s death.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who was in the area of Pen y Bryn Road and Mill Road at around the time of the collision.

Investigators are also asking residents and drivers to check private CCTV, doorbell-camera recordings and dashcam footage that could assist the investigation.

Authorities have urged people not to speculate about the circumstances of the collision while enquiries continue.

A COMMUNITY RALLIES AROUND HARRISON’S FAMILY

As Harrison’s family mourns, members of the wider community have rallied around them.

A GoFundMe campaign was launched to help Kayleigh and Daryl with funeral and memorial expenses, as well as rent, household bills, food and other essential costs while they take time away from work to grieve.

The appeal quickly attracted hundreds of donations and surpassed its original fundraising target.

By October 4, more than £23,000 had been raised, according to local reports, with the campaign later moving toward a £30,000 goal.

The overwhelming response has offered the family some practical support during an unbearable period.

But no amount of money can replace what they have lost.

“FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6”

At the end of the family’s tribute are words that have become a heartbreaking reminder of Harrison’s short life:

“Forever loved, forever missed, forever 6.”

He will never have the chance to grow older.

He will never celebrate another birthday.

He will never take another evening bike ride.

But his family says his memory will remain.

The flowers, donations and tributes appearing across the community are not only reminders of the tragedy — they are reminders of the little boy Harrison was.

A son who was deeply loved.

A brother who meant the world to his sisters.

A six-year-old with a personality big enough to brighten a room.

And to the people who loved him most, he will always be six.

Forever loved.
Forever missed.
Forever 6.
