MISSING ALABAMA MOTHER FOUND DEAD NEAR HER HOME
A heartbreaking search came to a tragic conclusion after a missing Alabama mother of two was found dead approximately one mile behind her residence. Sarah Elizabeth Barninger, 35, vanished from her Chambers County home on Sunday morning, October 11, leading to a week of intense searching and growing concerns surrounding the suspicious circumstances of her disappearance.

According to the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office, security camera footage showed Sarah leaving her property on foot at approximately 10:15 a.m., dressed in gray jogging pants, a black jacket, and white Crocs. Her last known location was tracked along County Road 263 before she vanished entirely.
What made her sudden departure particularly alarming to investigators was the vital personal belongings she left behind. Her purse, driver’s license, credit cards, and debit card were all left inside her residence. Most notably, her cellphone was also left behind, having undergone a complete factory reset that erased all stored data and settings. Authorities have not yet publicly clarified who performed the factory reset or when it occurred, leaving a major piece of the investigation unanswered.

While local authorities continue their investigation to determine the exact cause and circumstances of her death, community members are deeply saddened by the tragic outcome. The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office continues to urge anyone with relevant information or potential surveillance video from the surrounding area on the morning of October 11 to come forward to assist investigators.
