MISSOURI COUPLE AND THEIR LITTLE DOG VANISH — THEIR HOME LEFT UNLOCKED, CAR AND BELONGINGS STILL INSIDE

Leo and Katherine Lindeman have been missing since September 16, 2026. The elderly couple disappeared from their Missouri home along with their small white dog, Itty Bitty, leaving their family desperate for answers.

A Missouri family is facing an agonising mystery after an elderly couple and their beloved little dog disappeared without explanation.

Leo Lindeman, 73, and his wife, Katherine, 74, were last known to be at their home on September 16, 2026. Since then, there has been no confirmed information about where they went or what may have happened.

The circumstances surrounding their disappearance have raised serious concerns. Their home was reportedly left unlocked, their vehicle remained at the property, and their personal belongings were still inside.

Their small white dog, Itty Bitty, was also nowhere to be found.

THE LAST KNOWN EVENING

The evening before the couple disappeared, on September 15, Katherine attended a weekly dinner with a neighbour while Leo stayed at home.

According to the information shared about the case, Leo was expecting an appointment with an electrician.

The following day, September 16, the neighbour returned to the Lindemans’ home to bring back dishes from the previous evening.

When he arrived, he reportedly found the doors and windows open but could not find either Leo or Katherine.

He left the dishes on a table with a note.

There was no immediate explanation for their absence, and the events that followed remain unclear.

THEIR DISAPPEARANCE WAS REPORTED DAYS LATER

Authorities reportedly received the missing-person report on September 24, after the couple failed to attend their usual weekly dinner with the neighbour.

Their daughter was then alerted, and family members travelled to the property to look for them.

What they found only deepened their concerns.

The house was unlocked, the couple’s car was still there, and their personal belongings had apparently been left behind.

There was also no sign of Itty Bitty.

For their family, the unanswered questions were overwhelming: why had the couple left, where had they gone, and why had they apparently taken their dog but left their vehicle and belongings behind?

WHO ARE LEO AND KATHERINE LINDEMAN?

Authorities and family members have shared physical descriptions to help the public recognise the missing couple.

• Leo Lindeman, 73: Approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing around 145 pounds.
• Katherine Lindeman, 74: Approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds.
• Itty Bitty: Their small, white dog, also missing.

The couple’s disappearance has left loved ones waiting for information that could help explain what happened after September 16.

A FAMILY STILL SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS

The fact that both Leo and Katherine disappeared at the same time, alongside their dog, has made the case particularly concerning.

Their family is left with a home full of belongings, a vehicle that was never taken and a series of unanswered questions.

Anyone who may have seen Leo, Katherine or their little dog, Itty Bitty, or who has information about their whereabouts, is urged to contact the investigating authorities.

Three members of one household — a husband, a wife and their beloved dog — are missing. Their family is still waiting for answers and hoping they can be found. 🤍
