Strange “ostrich foot” tribe in Africa

This tribe is settled in Zimbabwe. To know about them, a traveler Drew Binsky reached there himself. To meet this tribe, he first took a car and then left while shooting the video. On the way, he also saw zebras, rhinos, wild elephants. This tribe lives among the same wild animals.

When Traveller Binsky met the tribe, he found that the people living there were shy and stressed on the surface. Binsky believes that’s because no one goes there and never comes to visit. At the same time, there is no help from the government. The name of this tribe is Vadoma Tribes.

The biggest difference between the people of the Vadoma tribe and other tribes is their appearance. At first glance, the people of the Vadoma tribe are not much different until they look down at their feet. Normally, the feet will have 5 toes, but they only have 2 toes, it is very eccentric and is likened to the legs of an ostrich. As a result, the Vadoma people are also known as “ostrich people”.

This is because generation after generation of this tribe is a victim of it and it is hereditary. This is the reason why people tease them and they have been isolated from society.

This special foot structure does not cause any trouble to the people of Vadoma, they are even very good at climbing trees. Of course, because of these special feet, people cannot wear shoes and in any weather they only walk barefoot.

A lot of people are interested in why the feet of the Vadoma tribe became so. Some people claim that their ancestors were not Earthlings but from another planet, shaped like birds. After arriving on Earth, they combined with humans and gave birth to offspring with feet that resembled ostrich claws.

Naturally, no one believes in this legend but they believe in science more. Scientists think this is a form of variant. Some studies suggest that this condition is caused by intercourse by people in the tribe. Relatives who marry and have inbreeding will give birth to a deformed baby and this condition is hereditary, so most people in the tribe wear ostrich legs.

Besides, ostrich legs are not the only condition that occurs in the Vadoma tribe, it has appeared in many parts of the world and is called “lobster claw syndrome”. The person who gave the name to the condition at the time thought that the deformed heel looked like the claws of a lobster.

As long as the people of these tribes leave the tribe and go out into the outside world, this symptom will disappear after a few generations. But for the Vadoma tribe, they don’t think of it as a disease but a gift from heaven and don’t leave the tribe.

Denial of contact with the outside world, such as the Vadoma tribe, can have even worse consequences, because incestuous marriages can cause more damage in the future and other deformities can occur, leading to the collapse of the tribe. That’s why the local government is also pushing the Vadoma tribe to have more contact with the outside world.
