Twelve days post-surgery, Officer Justin Beal is steadily recovering after undergoing a major, complex procedure to remove cancerous cells from his sinus cavity. The brave University of Alabama Police Officer recently faced a challenging surgery at UAB Hospital, which involved the reconstruction of his orbital socket, sinus cavity, jaw, and even teeth. It’s a long journey, but Justin’s perseverance and strength are already shining through as he makes steady progress.

Justin Beal, known for his dedication to the University of Alabama Police Department, had always been a constant presence at major events, including Bama football games where he would ensure the safety of fans and assist with crowd control. His role as a protector and a familiar face at the games made his absence even more felt this year. Typically, he would be on duty during the Bama vs. Tennessee game, a key event for both fans and the police force, but this year, he is battling a far greater opponent — his health.
