Country singer J.D. Graham is fighting for his life after a devastating highway crash involving a semi-truck left him with catastrophic injuries, shocking fans across the country music community.

The Oklahoma-born artist suffered a broken neck, broken back, and multiple fractured ribs after his vehicle was struck by one semi-truck and then slammed into another on an interstate highway. First responders had to cut him from the wreckage before airlifting him to a Texas trauma center for emergency treatment.

From his hospital bed, Graham told supporters he was “barely alive,” thanking fans for prayers while mourning the death of his dog, which was killed in the crash. Doctors say he faces a long and uncertain recovery that could include extensive rehabilitation and limited mobility for months.
