Six U.S. Soldiers Identified After Deadly Drone Strike in Kuwait

The United States Department of Defense has confirmed the identities of the final two American service members killed during the early hours of the conflict with Iran, following a devastating drone strike in Kuwait. 💔🇺🇸
The fallen soldiers include Jeffrey R. O’Brien, 45, of Indianola, Iowa, and Robert Marzan, 54, of Sacramento, California. Military officials reported that Marzan is believed to have died at the scene, with formal identification still pending final medical confirmation.

Both men were part of the 103rd Sustainment Command based in Des Moines, Iowa. They were among six U.S. troops who lost their lives in the same attack. The others include Cody A. Khork, Noah L. Tietjens, Nicole M. Amor, and Declan J. Coady. 🙏
The strike occurred at Shuaiba Port, a major harbor used both for commercial shipping and as a critical logistics hub supporting U.S. military operations in the region. In addition to the six fatalities, 18 other service members were wounded, making it one of the deadliest early incidents since the conflict began.

For many Americans, the news is a painful reminder that behind every uniform is more than a soldier — there is a family, a hometown, and a future suddenly cut short.
As tributes pour in across the country, their service is being honored not just for their duty in uniform, but for the lives they lived beyond it. Their sacrifice will remain a solemn part of the nation’s memory.
