Family worried as Lindsay Lohan stays in Dubai amid escalating tensions

Lindsay Lohan’s family is monitoring the security situation as she chooses to stay in Dubai with her husband and children amid rising military conflict in the Middle East.

A source told the Daily Mail that Lohan’s relatives in the US are constantly in touch to update the situation. “They’re very worried because there’s so much going on. For now, she is safe,” the source said.

Another source revealed that the actress was quite calm in the face of stressful developments. In previous difficult periods such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mean Girls star was also commented to keep a calm attitude. However, this person admitted that this is still a “scary time for everyone, including Lindsay”.

According to sources, the actor’s family has prepared a plan for her to leave Dubai if the security situation deteriorates. Lindsay Lohan now lives here with her husband – Kuwaiti businessman Bader Shammas – and son Luai.

On March 1, Lohan posted the message “pray for peace” on Instagram. “Everyone stay safe. God bless us all,” she wrote.

The concerns come amid an escalating military conflict in the Middle East. Dubai has now recorded some damage, including a drone attack on the airport and the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel, on the night of February 28.

Lindsay Lohan, 39, was born on Long Island (New York) and became famous early on through films such as The Parent TrapMean Girls or Freaky Friday. After years of facing media pressure and legal trouble, she moved to Dubai in 2014 in search of privacy. In 2022, she married businessman Shammas and welcomed her first son in 2023.

In recent years, Lohan has gradually returned to Hollywood with a number of new projects such as the Netflix movie Falling for Christmas and the sequel Freakier Friday starring Jamie Lee Curtis. Although her family in the US wants her to return to her homeland, they still respect the actor’s decision to continue to be attached to Dubai for more than a decade.
