There are moments in life when words just… fail.
That’s exactly how one mother felt when she learned why her little boy, Evan, hadn’t been feeling well lately.

What started as headaches and back pain turned into news no parent ever wants to hear. After months of remission, Evan’s illness has returned — this time affecting both his bone marrow and spinal fluid.

“The doctor’s voice just faded into the background,” his mother shared softly. “All I could think was — not again. Please, not my baby again.”

The coming months will be incredibly tough. His new treatment will be stronger and harsher, and he will also need a bone marrow transplant.

“When I told him, he just cried,” she said. “And all I could do was hold him and tell him that we’ll get through this together — just like we did before.”

That night, she stood under the shower, tears blending with the water. “I tried to wash away the day, the fear, the pain… but it didn’t work,” she admitted. “And when morning came, reality hit even harder.”
