Doctor’s Sick Secret Exposed: Bodycam

Newly released bodycam footage has captured the dramatic arrest of Michigan physician Dr. Oumair Aejaz, a man whose disturbing double life as a predator has now been fully exposed. Once a respected doctor and family man, Aejaz was sentenced to decades in prison after investigators uncovered a massive trove of hidden-camera footage showing him secretly recording and abusing victims — including hospital patients, women, and children as young as toddlers.
The Arrest: Bodycam Footage
In the footage from Oakland County, Michigan, officers approach a seemingly ordinary suburban home with a basketball hoop in the driveway. A child is visible outside before being redacted for privacy. Moments later, Dr. Aejaz emerges and is calmly but firmly taken into custody.
Officers can be heard instructing him to put his hands behind his back. The doctor, described as a husband and father to two young boys, is led away from the life he built — a life that allegedly hid years of depraved criminal activity.

The Horrific Discoveries
According to investigators and court documents:
- A search of Aejaz’s home uncovered six computers, four cell phones, and 15 hard drives.
- One hard drive alone contained more than 13,000 videos.
- He allegedly placed hidden cameras in changing rooms, bathrooms, hospital rooms, closets, and bedrooms.
- Victims ranged from toddlers to adults. Police found footage of children changing at a swim school (including a folder labeled “swim cut”), as well as videos of unconscious female patients being assaulted in hospital settings.
- The criminal activity is believed to have spanned at least six years.
Prosecutors described the evidence as the “tip of the iceberg,” with victims expressing profound shock, disgust, and violation upon learning they had been recorded without consent.

Sentencing and Victim Impact
In December 2025, Aejaz pleaded no contest to 31 counts of sexual misconduct. During sentencing, one mother whose then-two-year-old son was recorded at a Goldfish Swim School delivered a powerful statement directly to the doctor:
“Stop looking at the ground, you coward. Look up and look me in the eye… You had the audacity to wander into the swim school, turn on a camera, and record moms, dads, and their kids changing out of their wet swimsuits.”
Her emotional testimony highlighted the deep trauma inflicted on families who trusted public spaces and medical professionals.
A Betrayal of Trust
This case is particularly horrifying because it involves a doctor — someone patients and families are supposed to trust with their most vulnerable moments. Instead, authorities say Aejaz exploited that trust to prey on the innocent, from hospital beds to children’s swim classes.
The bodycam video serves as a chilling reminder of how predators can hide in plain sight.
