Missing Nolensville man found dead in neighborhood pond

The Nolensville Police Department said the search for a missing man has ended after he was found dead on Saturday.

Luke Wylie, 35, was reported missing early Saturday morning. He was last seen on foot in the Burberry Glen neighborhood around 4 a.m. NPD said a piece of clothing believed to belong to Wylie was later found near the community pond


Emergency crews searched the area and later found Wylie’s body in the pond.

NPD said no foul play is suspected in Wylie’s death and that there is no threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.

“We are a small community, and this tragedy affects all of us deeply. Please join us in keeping Mr. Wylie’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” NPD said.

Earlier: The Nolensville Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.

NPD said Luke Wylie, 35, was last seen leaving his Ravenswood Drive on foot around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday.

Wylie is 5’9″ tall with a medium build, brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and shorts, but NPD said he may be wearing a different shirt or no shirt at this time.
