NEARLY $700,000 RAISED FOR LINDSAY CLANCY’S PARENTS AS THEY REMAIN BY THEIR DAUGHTER’S SIDE

As Lindsay Clancy’s trial continues in Massachusetts, a fundraiser created to support her parents has raised nearly $700,000, according to the campaign.

The Musgrove Family Fund was established for Mike and Paula Musgrove, who have remained close to their daughter throughout the years-long criminal case.

THEY PUT THEIR LIVES ON HOLD

According to the fundraiser’s description, the couple moved from Connecticut to Massachusetts so they could remain near Lindsay and attend her court proceedings.

Over more than three years, they have reportedly spent substantial personal savings on:

Accommodation

Travel

Living expenses

Costs associated with attending the proceedings

Paula is retired, while Mike works as a photographer.

The fundraiser says the couple has continued supporting their daughter because they love her.

THE FUNDRAISER IS NOT PRESENTED AS A DEFENSE OF LINDSAY

Organizers specifically say the campaign is not asking donors to take a position on Lindsay Clancy, the allegations against her or the outcome of the criminal case.

Instead, its stated purpose is to help Mike and Paula recover financially after years of putting their own lives and resources on hold.

The fundraiser identifies the Musgroves as the beneficiaries and says they will control how the money is used.

 LINDSAY REMAINS ON TRIAL

Clancy is currently facing trial in connection with the January 2023 deaths of her three children:

Cora, 5

Dawson, 3

Callan, 8 months

The criminal case remains a matter for the court, and the fundraiser itself does not determine any question of guilt or innocence.

WHY THE FUNDRAISER IS ATTRACTING ATTENTION

The amount raised has drawn attention because it reflects the extraordinary financial and emotional burden placed on Clancy’s parents during the proceedings.

For years, they have reportedly traveled to court, relocated closer to their daughter and continued supporting her while the case moves through the justice system.

Their position is perhaps best summed up by the campaign itself:

They have not walked away from their daughter.

WHATEVER HAPPENS NEXT

The trial will eventually reach a conclusion.

But regardless of the legal outcome, Mike and Paula Musgrove will still have to confront the personal consequences of years spent supporting their daughter through one of the most closely watched criminal cases in Massachusetts.

They have lost grandchildren.

They have watched their daughter face trial.

And they have spent years living with uncertainty over what comes next.
