Louisiana husband accused of killing wife and driving her body across multiple states before being arrested.

Louisiana Man Accused of Killing Wife and Driving 400 Miles With Her Body

A 50-year-old Louisiana man has been accused of killing his wife and then driving roughly 400 miles across multiple states with her body inside his vehicle.

The suspect was identified as Tyronne Brazille, 50, of Louisiana. His wife, 50-year-old Lanessa Bradford, was identified as the victim.

According to investigators, the couple got into an argument at Independence Community Park in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Brazille allegedly shot Bradford during the confrontation.

Authorities say Brazille then placed his wife’s body in the passenger seat of the vehicle and left Louisiana.

He reportedly traveled through Mississippi before reaching Memphis, Tennessee, covering approximately 400 miles (644 kilometers) over more than five hours.

The journey came to an end when Memphis police stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation. Officers reportedly discovered Bradford deceased inside the car. Investigators determined that she had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.

Brazille was arrested in Memphis as a fugitive and remains in custody while awaiting extradition to Louisiana.

Once returned to Louisiana, he is expected to face a second-degree murder charge in connection with Bradford’s death.

Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the shooting, the couple’s argument, and Brazille’s actions after leaving Baton Rouge.

The allegations against Brazille have not been proven in court. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty through the legal process.
