ANGELICA BROPHY CASE: WEEKS OF SEARCHING — BUT STILL NO ANSWER

More than six weeks after Angelica Brophy disappeared, investigators are still trying to determine what happened to the Oceanside mother.

Angelica was last seen on July 6, 2026. Her vehicle was later found inside Palomar Mountain State Park, prompting an extensive search of the surrounding wilderness.

But despite repeated search efforts, Angelica has not been located.

AN UNEXPECTED DISCOVERY

The investigation took another turn on August 12, when human remains were discovered near South Grade Road in Pauma Valley, close to the broader search area.

Authorities have made an important point clear:

THERE IS CURRENTLY NO CONFIRMED LINK TO ANGELICA.

Investigators are working separately to establish the identity and circumstances surrounding those remains.

The discovery has therefore not provided an answer to Angelica’s disappearance.

HER FAMILY IS STILL WAITING

As investigators continue following leads, Angelica’s loved ones remain without a definitive explanation of where she went after entering the Palomar Mountain area.

Questions surrounding her vehicle, her movements on July 6 and the circumstances leading to her disappearance remain under investigation.
