Southwest Flight Attendant Found Dead After Apparent 24th-Floor Fall at Hawaii Hotel
Jenny Lupton, 50, a Southwest Airlines flight attendant from Moore, Oklahoma, was found dead outside a Hawaii hotel while on a work layover.
Lupton was discovered on August 20, 2026, near a trash collection area at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort in Waikiki.

According to her family, the Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office indicated that Lupton appeared to have fallen from the balcony of her 24th-floor hotel room.
Honolulu police have opened an investigation into the unwitnessed death. Authorities have not yet released the official cause or manner of death.

Investigators have not publicly announced whether foul play was suspected, and the circumstances leading up to the apparent fall remain unclear.
